Halstead 500593 Microswitch Assembly

The microswitch in an hydraulic diverter valve. It is switched on when a tap that is connected to the system is activated. The microswitch then sends a notification message to the PCB, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are many models of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
